Do you need a free speaker for your church or other group meeting? Organized! by Romanic® has two different “freebie” workshops that she will present to your group of 10 to 50 participants for FREE! Both can last from 30 minutes up to 1 hour. These are interactive meetings where your group members can get their questions answered. The freebie workshop for non-church groups is called “Getting Organized! by Romanic,” and the one for church groups is Bible based and called, “Using Christian Convictions to Conquer Clutter.”
Organized! by Romanic® charges $250 for the initial consultation, which lasts approximately 2 hours. This is a flat fee that Organized! by Romanic® used to refund when someone became a hands-on organizing client. The refund was a bookkeeping headache, so now Organized! by Romanic® gives first-time hands-on organizing clients 2 hours of free hands-on organizing at the end of their first 6-hour day of hands-on organizing.
Organized! by Romanic® charges $250 for follow-up consultations, educational family meetings, and coaching for hoarders who realize the mess is starting to come back again. All of these sessions last approximately 2 hours.
For hands-on organizing, based on the conditions in the home Organized! by Romanic® charges anywhere from $75 to $125 per hour plus the cost of supplies (gloves, masks, respirator filters, contractor bags, boxes, etc.): The more hazardous the situation, the higher the rate. Folks who hoard don’t like that policy, and say things like, “I’m living here, it can’t be that bad” or “I have more work for you so I should get the cheaper rate!” The problem is that Organized! by Romanic® disturbs all of the dust, mold, dirt, insects, rotting food, and mixtures of spilled liquids when removing the debris from the home. The simple truth that clients who hoard begin to understand as we clean up the mess is, “It really is that bad.” Organized! by Romanic® has pictures of vines growing up the back side of a 2-story townhome, through the guest bedroom window frame, and running all over the window and wall INSIDE the bedroom. The client had no idea this had happened because he had not been able to enter that room in years and had not noticed it from outside the house. As we unload the hoard, we usually discover mold, nests, and other things that cause client’s who want to get well to really come to terms with how much has been wasted and ruined on many different levels in their lives not just in their homes. Even clients who do not hoard go through a huge emotional journey as we clean up the clutter, but if clients stick with it and finish the process, they will find it was 100% worth the time, effort, and expense.
Organized! by Romanic® offers special discounted rates for clients who come out to a show and schedule and keep up to 10 visits at a time. Organized! by Romanic® does it this way to encourage potential clients to come out and meet her and to encourage current clients to stop by her booth.
